Privacy Policy

Coverage Check is operated by PJ Muñoz, a licensed financial advisor based in Arayat, Pampanga, Philippines ("PJ", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Coverage Check tool, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

Information we collect

We only collect the information you voluntarily provide through the Coverage Check form, which may include:

• Your nickname and email address
• Your birthdate (used to calculate your age) and gender
• Whether you smoke, and whether you have children or dependents
• Financial details you enter — monthly income, monthly expenses, target retirement age, desired retirement income, and the amounts of any existing coverage you already hold
• The reasons you selected for using the tool

We do not ask for or collect government-issued ID numbers, passwords, bank or card numbers, or any payment information through this tool.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Generate your personalized Coverage Snapshot (an estimate of recommended protection)
• Email a copy of your snapshot to the address you provide
• Follow up with you about a free, no-obligation consultation, if you consented
• Understand which benefits are relevant to you so we can prepare for that conversation

The legal basis for processing your information is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the tool, and only to the extent necessary:

• Email delivery — we use Resend to send your snapshot to your email address (and a copy to PJ).
• Scheduling — if you choose to book a call, scheduling is handled by Calendly, and any details you submit there are processed under Calendly's own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies and tracking

The Coverage Check website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and it does not run behavioral analytics on you. Any information we hold about you comes from the form you submitted.

Data retention

We keep the information you submit only as long as necessary to provide your snapshot and to follow up about a consultation, unless a longer period is required by law. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to be informed about, to access, to object to, to correct, and to request the erasure or blocking of your personal information, as well as the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Security

We take reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Coverage Check is intended for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
